Is it ADHD?

Signs of ADHD in Adults

ADHD doesn't end in childhood, and many adults, especially women and high achievers, were never diagnosed. You may recognize yourself in some of these:

  • Trouble starting, organizing, or finishing tasks
  • Chronic procrastination, then last-minute scrambling
  • Losing track of time, keys, bills, or appointments
  • A mind that won't slow down, or feels foggy and scattered
  • Hyperfocus on some things, can't focus at all on others
  • Restlessness, impulsive decisions, or interrupting
  • Emotional overwhelm, irritability, or rejection sensitivity
  • Feeling you work twice as hard to keep up, and burning out
  • Anxiety or depression treatment that never quite helped
  • A child recently diagnosed, and you see yourself in them
Your First Visit

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Whether you're new to ADHD care or continuing treatment, your first visit is a comprehensive 90-minute evaluation based on current DSM-5-TR criteria, completed by a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

  1. Your story and symptoms

We review your childhood and current symptoms and how they affect work, school, home, and relationships. If you're already diagnosed, we review your records, past treatment, and how your current medication is working.

  2. The full picture

We screen for conditions that can mimic or occur alongside ADHD, such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, and thyroid or hormonal changes, so your treatment targets the right thing.

  3. Lab work when helpful

When appropriate, testing can check thyroid function, iron, vitamin D, B12, and other factors that affect focus and energy.

  4. Your personalized plan

You leave with clear answers and a treatment plan we build together, including medication management when it's right for you.

Adult ADHD Treatment

An Integrative ADHD Treatment Plan, Built With You

Your plan is built around what works for you. Together we'll develop and implement a plan that fits your brain, your body, and your life.

Medication management

Starting, continuing, or fine-tuning stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications, with careful monitoring and pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing when appropriate to guide choices and reduce side effects.

Skills & therapy

Practical strategies for time management, organization, and follow-through, plus psychotherapy for the frustration or anxiety that years of ADHD can leave behind.

Lifestyle foundations

Sleep, movement, nutrition, and daily routines all affect attention. We build habits that support focus, one manageable step at a time.

Root-cause investigation

Functional and conventional lab testing to identify nutrient deficiencies, hormonal shifts, or medical issues that may be making symptoms worse.

Co-occurring conditions

Many adults with ADHD also live with anxiety, depression, or sleep problems. Treating the whole picture leads to better, longer-lasting results.

Complementary support

Mindfulness, biofeedback, and other integrative therapies can support stress, sleep, and emotional regulation alongside your core treatment.
